Comrades,
We have visited
Board and DGHRD offices from 16th to 18th January to
pursue the issues and to attend the meeting with CBEC Officials for finalizing
the points for forwarding to anomaly committee.
I have no doubt
to say that we are going through rough weather as the Board is not taking care
of the issues pertaining to this cadre.
President and I
accompanied by Secretary General of AICMOA (All India Customs Ministerial
Officers’ Association), met Member (Admin), CBEC and raised the ongoing issues.
Regarding the letters issued by Mr. B.K. Manthan, Under Secretary, on dates
26.12.2017, 04.01.2018 and 11.01.2018, he assured us of having a meeting soon
before taking any decision. We tried to make him aware that these letters are
just purposely written to ruin the career of ministerial officers and against
the letters issued by Board earlier, which were issued as per guidelines of DoPT
and various judgments pronounced by Hon’ble Supreme Court and High Court of the
country in different cases. We also requested him to take all possible steps to
get the RRs of AO published or else to issue the Instruction for immediate
promotion to the grade of AO.
DPC for
promotion to CAO would take some time as required documents pertaining to each
individual officer, under consideration, are yet to be reached to Board from
field formations. I request the zonal leaders to pursue the matter and take
necessary steps to forward the same at the earliest. Board has already issued a reminder for this.
We (Shri
Prosenjit Pandey, AGS of AICESTMOA and Gen Sec of Kolkata was also present) strongly
put our points in the meeting, chaired by Member (Admin), CBEC on 17th
January 2018 at DGHRD office, for forwarding the demand to raise the Grade Pay
(as per 6th CPC) of LDC to RS 2400/-,TA to Rs 2800/-, AO to Rs
4800/- and EA to be at par with CSS Assistant post (now ASO).
We also had a
meeting with 12 other constituents of COC in CBIC, at C.R. Building, New Delhi
on 16th January 2018 to finalize the programmes to put demands in
front of Board jointly and unitedly. On 1st February 2018, we will
have lunch hour meeting and further submit memorandum to authorities jointly
and also by individual association. On 28th February, we will
observe ‘Demands day’ by putting black badge and conducting lunch hour
demonstration.
I request all
our leaders and members to stand together and raise our voice to overcome the
ongoing adversities and obtain our legitimate rights. I am sure, together we
will be able reach our goal.
Long Live
AICESTMOA. Jai Hind.
Yours
faithfully,
-sd-
Secretary
General
