It is hoped that by now many of you would have gone through the entire cadre review proposal. After an initial study, it was felt that the likely impact of the Cadre Review Proposal on the Ministerial cadre should be made known to those who have not gone through the proposal till now in order to get their input/feedback. Accordingly the data pertaining to the changes that are likely to take place in the current proposal are placed hereunder for information of the Members. The net increase or decrease in the number of posts of Ministerial cadre in the present proposal is as under:-

This restructuring proposal has new posts in the level of Commissioner and Stenos.
Already 4600 and 4800 gpays for DOS and AOs have been accepted by the Department (CBEC). Hence, it should be incorporated inthe proposal for acceptance by DOE.
