            I have received a letter alongwith the Notice for election and the Nomination Forms from Shri. Rajinder Malhotra, Superintendent, the designated Returning Officer for the election process of AICESTMOA, to be held on 04^th August 2018 at Chandigarh, the venue of Convention-2018.

Friends,

            As we said earlier that during our meeting on 06^th March 2018, Member (A), CBEC told us to submit proposal, as suggested by our side, for change of nomenclature of AO Post to increase the Grade Pay from Rs 4600/- to Rs 4800/-, we sent the proposal vide our letter AICESTMOA/35/2018.

            Also, we strongly opposed the framing of separate set of RRs for the same post for the Directorates in CBIC and accordingly forwarded our comments vide our letter AICESTMOA/39/2018.

            Both the letters are appended for information.
